Hotel and resort photography in the city that sells rooms for a living.

In most cities a hotel's photography is marketing. In Las Vegas it is the product. Nobody books a room here because it is nearby, they book because of what the pictures promised, and the gap between the photograph and the arrival is the single fastest way a property collects a bad review. Hospitality is the largest body of work we do, so this is the practical version of how a property gets photographed properly while it is still full of paying guests.

Guest rooms and suites

The room is what you are selling and it has the least forgiving geometry in the building. Small, mixed light sources, a window several stops brighter than the interior, and a bed that reads badly from almost every angle except one.

Proof, not promises

Hospitality is our largest category. We run ongoing programmes for hotels, restaurants, pools and clubs, including The Drey Hotel, Meridian, Buzz & Bustle, the Village Country Club and the Village Beach Club, plus Montage Beverly Hills. Every image on this page came off one of those shoots.

"A seamless, professional addition to our boutique hotel. They capture the essence of our guests without interrupting them, and produce the kind of work the big chains only wish they had. Part of the family here." — Cindy, Hospitality Manager, The Drey Hotel · See the hospitality work →

Pools, amenities and exteriors

The aspirational half of the library, and in Las Vegas almost entirely a scheduling problem. From late spring through September, midday sun here is unusable: brutal shadows, squinting subjects and water that goes flat and white.

Bars, restaurants and meeting space

The lobby and the bar carry the personality. Meeting space carries the revenue nobody photographs. Both are shaped by lighting designed for atmosphere rather than for cameras.
