Book a Discovery Call →These are the questions that separate a real production partner from someone with a nice camera. Here are our answers. Ask anyone you are considering the same ones.
We price per project rather than by the hour, because an hourly rate tells you nothing about what you actually receive. The variables that move the number are crew size, how many hours we shoot, how many locations, how many finished deliverables you need, and how fast you need them. Every quote we send lists the deliverables alongside the price so you can compare it against anyone else's fairly. Most projects are scoped on a 20-minute call and quoted within 48 hours.
A typical project runs one to two weeks of planning and scheduling, one shoot day, then one to two weeks of editing including two revision rounds. Event work moves faster: we deliver social cuts within 24 to 48 hours while the moment is still worth posting, then the full highlight film afterward. If you have a hard deadline, tell us at the quoting stage and we will tell you honestly whether it is achievable.
Yes, and for most clients it is the better arrangement. One crew covering both means a single shot list, one point of contact, and stills that match the film in look and color grade. It also typically costs 30 to 40 percent less than booking separate photo and video vendors, who otherwise compete for the same angles on the day.
Las Vegas, the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex, and Los Angeles. Within DFW we cover Dallas, Fort Worth, Plano, Frisco, Irving, Las Colinas, Arlington, Addison, McKinney, Allen, Richardson, and Southlake with no travel fees. Within Southern Nevada we cover Las Vegas, Henderson, Summerlin, and Paradise. Ask about anywhere else and we will quote travel honestly rather than hiding it in the project cost.
Yes. We hold FAA Part 107 certification, which is legally required for any commercial drone flight. This matters more than most clients realize in Dallas-Fort Worth, where large areas sit inside controlled airspace tied to DFW International, Love Field, Addison, and Dallas Executive, and in Las Vegas, where McCarran airspace and Strip restrictions are significant. We handle the airspace authorization; you should ask any operator to show you their certificate before they fly over your property.
You do. You receive the finished deliverables in the formats and aspect ratios agreed in the scope, and raw footage is available on request. We put this in writing rather than leaving it ambiguous, because footage ownership is one of the most common sources of friction between brands and production companies.
Yes, for commercial use including paid advertising. Music licensing is a real line item that some quotes quietly omit, and an unlicensed track can get your video muted, pulled, or hit with a copyright claim after launch. If you are comparing quotes, ask each company directly whether music licensing is included and whether it covers paid media.
Two rounds, in writing, on every project. In our experience two rounds handles the vast majority of feedback when the brief was clear at the outset. If a project genuinely needs more, we will tell you what an additional round costs rather than absorbing it and quietly padding the next quote.
Yes, and for most brands it is the better economic choice. If you need video more than twice a year, a monthly or quarterly retainer lowers your cost per asset, removes the re-quoting cycle, and means the crew already knows your brand, your venue, and your people. Our recurring clients get a planned content calendar rather than a series of disconnected projects.
Four things: where the video will live and who will watch it, the one thing a viewer should do or believe afterward, two or three reference videos you like, and the names of everyone who has to approve the final cut. That last one prevents the single most common cause of blown timelines, which is a stakeholder appearing at the final cut with notes.
Yes. We carry general liability insurance and can issue a certificate of insurance naming your building or venue, which nearly every corporate property and hospitality venue in Dallas, Fort Worth, Plano, and Las Vegas requires before a crew can load in. Request it about a week out, because it takes a day to issue and a missing COI will stop a shoot at the door.
You tell us what is not working and we fix it, within the two included revision rounds. In practice this is rare when the brief and references were clear before the shoot, which is why we spend time on that up front. Nothing about our process depends on you accepting a cut you are unhappy with.
