Las Vegas Roofing Leads: Costs, Channels and Calculator
The cheapest roofing lead is not necessarily the cheapest customer. Compare channels using qualified inquiries, confirmed appointments and won jobs from the same group of leads. This guide includes a channel comparison, a worked example, a calculator for your own numbers and a downloadable tracking worksheet.

What does a roofing lead actually cost?
There is no single verified Las Vegas roofing lead price we can give you from this research. Vendor offers, nationwide estimates and individual campaign reports measure different things. A shared contact record, an exclusive phone inquiry and a completed estimate are not interchangeable products.
Before comparing prices, ask what makes a lead billable, whether it is shared, how old it is, what service and location it covers, and what happens when the details are wrong. Then distinguish the vendor's definition of a valid lead from your office's definition of a qualified prospect. A genuine request can still be a poor fit for your job size, schedule or services.
Use these calculations on one consistent group of inquiries:
- Cost per inquiry: included marketing cost divided by unique inquiries.
- Cost per qualified inquiry: included marketing cost divided by inquiries that fit your agreed criteria.
- Cost per confirmed appointment: included marketing cost divided by appointments actually confirmed.
- Cost per won job: included marketing cost divided by jobs won from that group.
Include advertising or lead purchase spend and the fees you choose to allocate to the comparison. For a reusable video, decide whether you are counting the whole production cost now or allocating it across a documented period. Apply the same treatment to every channel. Cost per won job alone does not prove profit; job revenue, delivery costs, overhead and cancellations still matter.
Compare the channels before buying more leads
| Channel | What it can do | What to verify |
|---|---|---|
| Google Search ads | Reach people searching for relevant services. | Actual search terms, location fit, landing page and inquiry outcomes. |
| Google Local Services or its migrated pay per lead campaign | Generate eligible local service calls and messages under Google's lead model. | Account eligibility, services, area, charges and current account configuration. |
| Organic search and Business Profile | Help people discover and evaluate the company. | Relevant impressions and clicks, profile accuracy and resulting inquiries. |
| Social video and paid distribution | Show your people, process and project evidence to an audience. | Audience and offer fit, content cost and inquiries that reach a real sales conversation. |
| Purchased leads | Provide contact opportunities under a supplier's terms. | Shared or exclusive status, age, consent information, fit and credit policy. |
| Referrals | Connect the company with someone introduced by an existing relationship. | Source, fit, handling time and any referral program costs. |
Google describes Search campaigns as reaching people actively searching for products or services. That makes the search term and destination page important. A request for repair should reach information about the repair services you actually offer, not an unrelated project gallery.
For organic local visibility, Google identifies relevance, distance and prominence as major factors. See its local ranking guidance. Accurate information and useful projects are worth improving; they do not guarantee a particular position or make ongoing content work free.
A current Google Local Services detail worth checking
Google's current documentation describes a phased move from Local Services Ads into specialized Performance Max campaigns with pay per lead goals, starting with select US home service advertisers in August 2026, including roofing. Check the notice in your own account to determine its status. The campaign still uses local Search and Maps placements and lead based charging.
This is different from standard Performance Max. Google specifically says video assets do not apply to the migrated pay per lead campaign type. Do not buy a video package on the assumption that this particular campaign needs video assets. Footage may be useful on your website or in other distribution, but that is a separate decision. Google also says historical campaign performance reports do not migrate; preserve the reporting you need for your comparisons. Read Google's transition documentation.
A billable lead is still not a sold roof. Check the current Google lead charging guidance and evaluate what happened after the contact reached your office.
Worked example: cheaper leads, more expensive customers
The following numbers are invented solely to demonstrate the arithmetic. They are not Las Vegas benchmarks, PPV results or forecasts. Both campaigns have $4,000 of included marketing cost and enough elapsed time for the listed sales outcomes to be known.
| Measure | Campaign A | Campaign B |
|---|---|---|
| Included cost | $4,000 | $4,000 |
| Unique inquiries | 40 | 20 |
| Qualified inquiries | 20 | 16 |
| Confirmed appointments | 10 | 8 |
| Won jobs | 2 | 4 |
| Cost per inquiry | $100 | $200 |
| Cost per qualified inquiry | $200 | $250 |
| Cost per appointment | $400 | $500 |
| Cost per won job | $2,000 | $1,000 |
Campaign A looks less expensive at the inquiry stage. Campaign B costs less per won job in this example. Neither is automatically the better investment until you compare job value, costs, capacity and the completeness of the sales records. A small sample can also change quickly when another job closes.

Start with your own records. The prefilled numbers are an illustrative sample, not market averages. Count each prospect once at each stage, using one inquiry group. This calculator assumes appointments are a subset of qualified inquiries and won jobs are a subset of appointments. If your process skips a stage, reconcile those records first.
These fields calculate in your browser and are not submitted by this calculator. The site's standard analytics still apply.

A Las Vegas service area and inquiry check
Write down the areas your crew actually serves and separate the types of work your office routes differently. Las Vegas, North Las Vegas and Henderson are useful coverage distinctions; use neighborhood names such as Summerlin only when they reflect your real service. A city name in an advertisement does not replace checking the location of each request.
Ask for the person's name, a working contact method, city or ZIP code, requested service and a short description. Include an unsure option so the customer does not need to diagnose a roof. Record whether the request concerns a home, commercial property or another category you actually serve. Confirm the appointment separately from the form submission.
For seasonally timed content, plan around real customer questions rather than making assumptions about damage. The National Weather Service describes Las Vegas heat, winds and summer thunderstorms. That context can inform the publishing calendar, but an individual roof's condition requires the contractor's assessment.
A tracking worksheet your office can use
Give each unique request an internal ID and record its source, date, service, area fit, contact outcome, appointment and final sales outcome. Keep duplicate calls or forms attached to that record. Capture the original source separately from a later video or page that helped the conversation so you do not credit the same job twice.
Choose one inquiry period, then allow for your actual sales cycle before finalizing its won job total. Comparing this month's ad spend with every job booked this month can mix new inquiries with older prospects. Mark unresolved inquiries as pending. Treat unknown attribution as unknown instead of guessing which post deserves credit.

Review these questions with the office: Were requests outside the area? Was the requested service available? Did someone respond? Were appointments confirmed? Which inquiries are still open? That discussion identifies whether the next improvement belongs in targeting, the page, response handling or the offer.
Where video helps, and when to fix something else first
Video is useful when a prospect needs to meet the team, understand the estimate process or see an accurately documented project. Put the relevant clip beside the service explanation and the next step. Our roofing video scripts and shot lists provide an original brief you can use to film those answers.
If nobody is responding to inquiries, additional footage will not fix the missed conversations. If the service area is wrong, correct the targeting and page language. If you cannot connect any marketing activity to qualified inquiries, establish the records before treating more content as the solution.
Picture Perfect Video can scope the production around real projects and customer questions. Our portfolio includes Drey Hotel and The Village Dallas; those are hospitality production examples, not roofing campaign results. Frequently asked questions
How much do roofers pay per lead in Las Vegas?
There is no verified single Las Vegas price in this guide. Costs depend on the source, lead definition, exclusivity, service area and campaign. Compare the full included cost against qualified inquiries, confirmed appointments and won jobs.
What is the best marketing channel for a roofing company?
Choose based on the customer need, your available evidence, office capacity and measured outcomes. Compare channels using the same cost basis and inquiry period rather than assuming one channel always wins.
Does a Google Local Services campaign need roofing video ads?
Google says video assets do not apply to the specialized Performance Max campaigns with pay per lead goals used in its Local Services migration. Website videos and other campaigns are separate uses. Check the current documentation and your account status.
What does the roofing lead calculator measure?
It divides the costs you include by unique inquiries, qualified inquiries, confirmed appointments and won jobs. It measures those costs only, not profitability or future performance. All outcome counts should belong to the same inquiry group.
