Every milestone ceremony has the same handful of moments that the client, the press and the investors will ask for later.
- The shovel or ribbon moment. Covered from two angles at once, stills and video, with everyone in frame and the signage readable. This is the one image that has to be perfect.
- Speeches. The mayor, council members, the developer, the architect and the lender. Clean audio from the podium feed or a dedicated mic so the quotes are usable in the recap.
- The group photo. Everyone in hard hats with the rendering or the site behind them, posed quickly so dignitaries are not kept waiting.

How far in advance should we book groundbreaking coverage?
Two to six weeks is typical for events. Ceremony dates often move with permits and weather, so we keep the date flexible where we can and confirm the run of show the week before.
Can you deliver content the same day?
Yes. A short social cut can be delivered the day of the ceremony, and a small set of key photos can be prioritized for the press release.
Do you bring drones to groundbreakings?
Yes, where airspace and the property allow it. Drone work is flown by FAA Part 107 licensed pilots with commercial drone insurance, with authorization secured before the event.
Can you capture clean audio of the speeches?
Yes. We record from the podium or sound system feed when available, or place a dedicated microphone, so quotes are clear enough to use in the recap.
Do you also film the construction in between?
Yes. Many developers book the groundbreaking, monthly drone progress and the ribbon cutting together so the whole project is filmed consistently.
What happens if the ceremony is moved for weather?
Tell us as soon as the date moves and we will work to reschedule. Terms for date changes are set out in your written agreement.
