# Planning a Las Vegas Wedding Weekend Your Guests Can Follow

A Las Vegas wedding can come together quickly, which is half the appeal. The harder part is usually the weekend around it: guests flying in from different cities, a welcome party, a ceremony, a dinner and a brunch, each at a different address. This guide covers the Clark County marriage license step by step, then shows how to plan a wedding weekend schedule that out of town guests can actually follow.

## The short answer

Apply online with the Clark County Clerk, then go to the Marriage License Bureau at 201 E. Clark Avenue together with government issued photo ID. It is open every day from 8 a.m. to midnight, including holidays, and the license costs $102, plus a convenience fee if you pay by card. There is no waiting period and no blood test. Your ceremony needs a Nevada licensed officiant and at least one witness. For guests, send one schedule with a time, an address and a map pin for every event.

## The Clark County marriage license, step by step

  1. Check eligibility. Both of you must be at least 18 and currently unmarried.
  2. Apply online. Each person completes their own information in the Clark County Clerk's online application. It stays in the system for one year, so you can apply well ahead of the trip. Save the confirmation number.
  3. Go to the Marriage License Bureau together. Bring government issued photo ID with your current likeness, such as a driver's license or passport. Names must match your ID. No appointment is needed, and pickup typically takes less than an hour.
  4. Pay the fee. The license is $102, with a convenience fee if you pay by credit or debit card.
  5. Check the spelling on the license before you leave, since corrections can carry a fee.
  6. Hold the ceremony in Nevada within one year, with a Nevada licensed officiant and at least one witness other than the officiant.
